DALLAS (AP) — An HIV-positive Dallas man has been sentenced to 95 years in prison over the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl who also became infected.
A judge in Dallas on Thursday finished sentencing 31-year-old Matthew Louis Reese by ordering the prison time to be served consecutively.
Reese on Tuesday pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual assault of a child with a deadly weapon, aggravated sexual assault with serious bodily injury and sexual assault of a child. The plea deal meant prison sentences of 55 years, 20 years and 20 years but a judge had to decide the terms.
